The Tamarack Inn property consists of three major buildings on 1.72  acres,  located at the central hub of activities in the mountain recreational area of Tollgate, Oregon.  Tollgate is located on highway 204, halfway between Weston and Elgin Oregon,  at elevation 5042 feet.  We are  37 miles east of Pendleton, 37 miles south of Walla Walla Washington, and 37 miles northwest of La Grande.

 

The Main Building is the living quarters, with large kitchen, living room & dining room, master bedroom, 4 guest rooms, bonus room, hot tub room with 8-person hot tub, five bathrooms, and pantry/laundry room.  The Main building has 3829 square feet of living space.  The living room, dining room, and two upstairs bedrooms are of rough-cut open beam wood construction, which lends a rustic warm atmosphere.  There is a well on the property, which provides excellent water.  It comes with a water filter and UV water purifier system. 

 

The "garage" is a large building with two parking stalls, a nice workshop, and a storage room with shelving.  It also has shed-style carports on each side, as well as the back of the building.  It measures 36' X 40', not counting the carports.  Two carports are 14' X 40',  the third carport is roughly 14' X 36'.

 

The "new shop"  was built in 2008.  It is 24' x 44', has three roll-up doors, and a gravel floor.  It was designed as RV storage and snowmobile parking space.
